Although it's possible to set properties like blinds, stacks, rake, etc at the time of the creation of your tree (see previous page),
the software also allows you to do this áfter your tree has already been created.
For the example in this section, please create a
new tree where the active players are Cutoff, Button and SB.
Press "Start tree!" to begin the new tree.
Just leave the blinds and stacks at their standard value.
We'll set them later in the tree itself.
The screen should now look approxiately like the pic below.
Let's say that we'll want to give our players a $40 stack each and use $2/$4 blinds.
Also, we want 5% rake with a $3 cap and 35% rakeback.
For stacks, press either the "Stacks" icon , press Ctrl+F2 or click on large quick-button in the lower left:
This will bring up the "Stacks" dialog.
Here, you can edit the stack sizes for the active players.
For your convenience, the non-active players are grayed out in this menu.
For this, press the blinds icon , Ctrl+F1 or the quick-button in the lower left:
Here you can enter the blinds, rake, rakeback.
You can also add additional chips to the pot here.
For example, you may wish to do so if some player has posted but does nothing meaningful in the hand.
You're better off leaving this player out, since this will simplify your tree (as explained in more detail here).
Just leave this field at 0 for now and press OK.
In the calculactions, rakeback is treated as a discount on the rake.
So if the rake is 5% and you have 35% rakeback, then only 65% of this rake will be deducted from the winning player's pot.
If we now look at the size of the pot at the Cutoff's decision button we'll see that it's $6, namely $2 for the small blind and $4 for the big blind. So although the big blind is not considered active in the hand, his blind ís of course added to the pot.
For now, complete the tree by letting the Cutoff push with "all hands" and letting the Button and Small blind call.
