Hint boxes in tournament mode

As discussed in the previous sections, all EVs are calculated in comparison to the value of a stack after folding.
This applies both to tournaments and cash games.

In tournament calculations, in order to help you keep track of which stack distribution the software considers to be the result of folding, hint boxes will pop up to the lower left of all decision nodes.

There's two types of hint boxes:
- The information hint box
- The exclamation sign

The informative hint box
In case of decisions where the outcome after folding is known, an information hint box will be displayed to the lower left of a decision. If you move your mouse over the box, a popup will inform you which outcome after folding the program uses. The only purpose of an informative hint box is to let you know the software was able to define an outcome. No further input from you is required.

The exclamation sign
In case of a decision where the software can not give a mathematically based origin with which it can compare the actions, an exclamation sign will be shown to the lower left of the decision node. If you mouse over that information box, a popup will tell you which scenario is used as the origin. If you are interested in the EV data in that node, and you're not happy with the scenario that the software has used for folding, then please add an artificial fold yourself, as explained in the previous section (situation 4).

Please observe that if the EVs of this particular decision are not of interest to you, then there's no need to bother with defining what happens after folding. The calculations in this node in no way affect the calculations in other nodes.
